| Everybody loves a story. A good story can change . . .
Behavior. Attitudes. Beliefs. Your life. Jesus knew that. Look anywhere in the Gospels and you're liable to find him telling a story. And Jesus' stories had the potential to change the world. Storytelling is an excellent teaching/preaching tool becuae it actively engages the mind and the emotions of the listener. Instead of saying, "Here is the answer," the storyteller says, "The answer is in here--can you find it?" Instead of appealing only to the analytical left side of the brain the storyteller appeals to both the analytical left and the emotional right--a more wholistic approach. As Christians, as the followers of Jesus Christ, as the sons and daughters of God we have inherited a rich legacy as people of the story. The parables of Jesus. The lavish tapestry that is the love story of God pursuing us. Re: Creations embraces that legacy--sharing the story of grace and faith with believers throught the United States and the world. We would love to have the chance to share our ministry with you! |
